Will Counter-Strike become a thing of the past by 2005? By Capricorn.

The simple answer to this is yes in my personal opinion. Here are some reasons why I think
this will happen.

Firstly, with the arrival of Half-Life 2 due very shortly (it would have been here already if
some idiots didn't steal the source code) I believe CS will be completely destroyed.
Even though it's a good game, it's becoming old and no matter how many updates there are, after a few years it becomes the same thing over and over again i.e. Kill people and win a round. Eventually, like many other games before it, it will get boring, old and slightly annoying.

Another problem is Steam. Steam isn't that bad, don't get me wrong. It is the fact that it is extremely buggy. It's difficult to get on at times but once you are, apart from the odd verification error, it's not too bad. However, we may just be lucky with our very few problems. The Steam Official forums (www.steampowered.com) have thousands of members demanding their problems be fixed, and rightly so too in my opinion.
